With approximately 450 participants each and strong international participation, the 2020, 2022, and 2024 dcrps conferences were extremely successful. They were immediately the largest of their kind. It therefore makes sense to consider the fourth dcrps conference every two years, alternating with its sister event, acrps. The fourth dcrps will take place on March 12 and 13, 2026.

De-carbonization, energy efficiency, increased performance, digitization - these are just a few buzzwords that currently dominate the railway industry and that also apply to DC electric traction power supply systems. The dcrps 2026 will deal with all DC railways with a nominal voltage of 600 V to 3 kV, both urban railways (trams, underground and suburban railways, trolleybuses) and DC long-distance railways. Other topics include interfaces to the charging infrastructure for electric buses and electrified roads.
